Built because starting over should not be the only option

Ken built 3DPrintSaver.com around the patent-pending recovery system.

The goal is simple: help you finish a failed print when starting over should not be the only option.

Why it exists

I'm Ken, inventor of the patent-pending recovery system. As an aspiring print-farmer wannabe, I was being crippled by prints that started out fine and then, for one reason or another, failed to complete.

I crawled through every corner of the internet looking for a solution. What I found was tech-heavy, limited to specific models, required manually reconstructing G-code, had no safety features to prevent crashes, relied on eyeballing the resume layer, and, to keep it simple, was not worth the time or risk.

Re-establishing coordinate state after it had been lost, with a print still on the build plate, was one of the biggest issues. One day, after another large print of expensive filament failed in the final hours, I was staring at it and thinking there had to be a way. With the Klipper docs fresh in my mind after writing a printer.cfg from scratch, it hit me: inform Klipper of its coordinates based on where the actual partial print is in relation to the nozzle.

The first version saved three real prints on two different model printers in its first 48 hours. It did not just save the prints; it was fun to use. It turned frustration into satisfaction, to the point that I almost wanted prints to fail just so I could see how fast and accurately I could resume them. Then it occurred to me that maybe other people might benefit from this.

Had I known what I was in for, there is no way it would have happened. But with a little OCD, more than 2,000 hours of troubleshooting and debugging, and a measurable cost to my mind and sanity, 3DPrintSaver.com was born. It works like a champ, and I believe it can be a true win for the entire community.

When the print starts going sideways, do not panic. Take control and grab 3DPrintSaver.com.
